The Executive Programme in Banking and Financial Institution Management is aimed at working professionals with at least 3 years experience who wish to advance their careers and consolidate their professional skills in the area of financeThe programme is centred on the everyday business of banking.  Participants will be study in depth how banks work  and the key factors which affect the workings of financial institutions (the Spanish and international bank sectors, negotiating and contracting bank products and services, strategic management in banking, wholesale and retail bank products, marketing and commercialising bank products and services).

The Executive Programme in Banking and Financial Institution Management pursues the following objectives:

  • Participants study in depth banking business and the workings of financial institutions; the course also deals with the business strategies and marketing processes peculiar to the banking sector.
  • The programme seeks to increase the managerial skills of leadership, communication, team work and motivation, which are necessary for future senior executives.
  • In the course of the programme participants will become familiar with decision-making processes in the context of financial institutions through the analysis of a wide range of case studies.
  • The course also seeks to transmit, as an integral part of participants’ training, ethical values and principles of social commitment in the practice of good corporate governance demanded by stakeholders and society at large.
  • Finally, participants will present a Final Project in which they will apply their analytical skills to improve their performance and that of their own companies.
