The Professional Careers Department's objective is to provide a direct link between our CUNEF undergraduate and graduate students and our collaborating companies and institutions. Our main mission is to help students in the practical placement process and later in their insertion in the professional life thanks to the placement programs which follow the established agreements of educational cooperation, and with the help of our employment pool for recently graduated and working professionals (run by the CUNEF Alumni).

CUNEF stands out for the high teaching quality and exceptional technical, competitive and professional qualification that our undergraduate and graduate students receive. At CUNEF, we focus on developing responsible, engaged, entrepreneurial professionals with the necessary skills and qualifications for future leadership, ready for an intense professional career in the diverse national, international and multicultural environments. Our Professional Careers Department offers a wide range of services and support to foster the professional success of each student. This service covers the active management of recruitment with our associated companies as far as placements and job offers, as well as an individually tailored professional orientation to help our students in the development of their future careers. We offer our professional advice on competitive examinations, postgraduate programs; and we are at their entire disposition for any information on grants and other study assistance aids, etc.

Indeed, we help companies cover their daily recruitment openings by putting them in touch with the candidates that best match the profile in demand. Amongst other activities, our Department regularly organizes presentations, seminars, workshops, work breakfasts, etc... These events also allow companies to communicate about their activities, culture, values, and recruitment processes . Thus, those candidates that are well prepared for performing their jobs and for professional success are familiar with these companies' recruitment processes.

CUNEF has a close relationship with the professional environment. The Professional Careers Department runs the practical business placements, job offers, and organizes seminars and complementary activities whose main objective is to equip our CUNEF students with the necessary professional tools and skills, as well as to provide the best opportunities for obtaining their first employment. Thus, every year we organize a number of events. Here are some examples:

• Employment Forum. CUNEF Contact Week: Every year, companies and organizations from diverse economic and business activity sectors take part in the employment forum organized by CUNEF; its aim is to provide students and companies with an ideal framework for sharing information and for finding out the details of the process by which young university graduates enter their first job after graduating.
• Company presentations and 'on-campus' selection processes. Financial sector, consultancy, audit and investment banking companies frequently hold selection processes and give presentations and seminars on specific areas, organized in partnership with the Professional Careers Department and directed particularly at CUNEF degree and postgraduate students.
• Company placement programs. We work with a large number of companies which offer jobs every year for students in the last year of their degree. The placement programs are an excellent opportunity to strengthen the education received at CUNEF and are in many cases the start of many of our students' professional careers.
• Employment pool. Working with the Alumni Association, CUNEF manages the employment offers which are regularly posted by companies and organizations.
