CUNEF pays special attention to its technological infrastructure. The Department of Information Systems and Quality Control develops all kinds of technological initiatives and projects which are aimed at guaranteeing the highest quality of their information exchange processes, their academic support as well as facilitating the administrative tasks.

Basic Technological Infrastructure. This section of the Department is in charge of the execution of projects designed to expand and improve CUNEF's computer services; the installation of new services and expanding the already existing ones; offering an automated consulting service; offering the support and paying attention to everyday users of computer resources and the maintenance of computer rooms, making sure that CUNEF has state of the art equipment adapted to the needs of the faculty with updated programs of interest to the student. Each classroom is equipped with a computer and a projector to be used by teachers and students alike, facilitating the teaching of the different subjects. The school also has a Computer Lab with equipment, material and software for an appropriate personal use for both faculty and students.

In addition, this department studies, designs and implements improvement projects for the university's information infrastructure and telecommunications, and efficiently administers and manages the institution’s information system network.

Development of applications. The Department plans, designs and implements technological systems in accordance with the needs of CUNEF's diverse Departments. It also works at constantly improving the already existing applications with the aim of adapting them to the functional needs and to the newest technologies that appear on the market.

WIFI ZONE in the whole area covering all the CUNEF premises to facilitate Internet access from your personal portable electronic devices.

Intranet CUNEF. The CUNEF Intranet permits the sharing of information, applications and resources safely for students, teachers and employees. In addition, it is an efficient tool of collaboration and personal work. These are some of the intranet services CUNEF offers their students: 

• To share technological resources (printers, scanners,...) and to facilitate the connection to Internet (access to the network and to its communication possibilities)
• E-mail service: each student has an electronic mailing address and a remote data storage service, accessible from inside and outside, from any computer connected to the Internet.
• Creation of forums, bidirectional channels of communication between teachers and students, which permit the exchange of ideas, experiences,...
• Diverse uses allowing authorized people to do «office paperwork » such as asking for certificates, registration paperwork, student notes, library notes, etc.

Furthermore, CUNEF, is an AUTHORIZED TESTING CENTER of Microsoft (ATC), thus making it easy for students to obtain MOS certificates (Microsoft Office Specialist), official certificates which Microsoft gives to those users who pass a series of exams and which CUNEF students can take at the premises.
