CUNEF joins the EFMD as full member

At its meeting held on 31st May 2011, the EFMD approved the University College for Financial Studies (CUNEF) as full member of this organisation. The process was focussed on the documentation provided by CUNEF in relation to its institutional development, the breadth of the university education and research it provides, and its educational infrastructure and other resources.
La EFMD (“European Foundation for Management Development”) is a world-wide, non-profit organisation fostering continuous improvement of executive training and development. The organisation is a forum for exchange of experiences and networking for academics and managers from universities, business schools and member companies. More than 750 organisations from 81 different countries are currently members of the association. The main aims of EFMD are:
-
To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between members of the association and to serve as a link between the university and business.
-
To contribute to the improvement of quality, through certifications: EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System), EPAS (EFMD Programme Accreditation System), CLIP (Corporate Learning Improvement Process) and CEL (EFMD programme accreditation for technology-enhanced learning).
-
To use its institutional standing to lobby the European Commission, the United Nations World Pact, the World Bank and other multilateral and international organisations in favour of its members.
