CUNEF has an active employment pool through which companies can meet with students or alumni, communicate their policies and offer job openings for:

• final year undergraduate students
• postgraduate students
• former CUNEF graduate or postgraduate students

Who has access to the CUNEF Employment Pool job openings?

To register and participate in the CUNEF Employment Pool, you need to be officially enrolled in the last year of your undergraduate program or degree, or enrolled in one of the Masters Programs or executive programs taught at CUNEF. The users (current or former students) are active in the CUNEF Employment Pool, and consequently receive via the different communication means (e-mail, CUNEF Alumni Platform, etc.) job offers during their last year at CUNEF as well as the two years following their graduation. After this time, former students must officially register with CUNEF Alumni (Former CUNEF Students' Association) in order to continue benefiting from this service.

How do students and former students learn about the job offers announced through CUNEF?

All job offers received by CUNEF are sent to the different bodies via: electronic distribution lists and the CUNEF Alumni virtual community. In addition, if a company offering a position so demands, CUNEF carries out more targeted profile searches, offers more advice and pre-selects candidates who best match the sought profile.

How can companies offer job openings or communicate about their recruiting processes?

CUNEF has many services and events which companies interested in selecting a current or former student matching their profile can benefit from. These are some of them:

• Participation in the Employment Forum (CUNEF Contact week)
• Organization of presentations of specific companies and their recruiting processes
• « On campus » selection processes
• Publishing of job offers,…

How does CUNEF run the Employment Pool?

All job offers received through the CUNEF Employment Pool are handled with the greatest discretion. Once received, CUNEF analyses its suitability, and when so, it communicates the offer to the last year students, postgraduate students, recently graduated students (undergraduate or graduate), or former CUNEF students. If the company demands pre-selection by CUNEF, CUNEF does so and only presents the job offer to those candidates who seem suitable to the company, which then carries out their selection process as planned. In the other cases, the company receives directly all applications by all the candidates who are interested in participating in the selection process. In both cases, the companies have the obligation to communicate the result to the CUNEF Professional Careers Department if the selected candidate is a CUNEF current or former student.
