Dr Ikujiro Nonaka, Hitotsubashi University’s emeritus professor and the honorary chairman of the Centre, is the pioneer in the field of knowledge and its management. His ground-breaking book with Professor H. Takeuchi, The Knowledge Creating Company, is the essential reading for the researchers and academics as well as practising managers.

He has also written articles in academic and management journals both in Japan and overseas. He edits several international journals and designs international seminars for managers and sits on the board of several world-class companies.
