The day to day teaching activities during the master programme are complemented by a series of additional activities which help the participants in postgraduate programmes at CUNEF to widen their knowledge, reinforce their career orientation, gain professional experience, witness initiatives and proposals put forward by leading experts in the practice of finance. The Master Programmes in Finance include, amongst others, the following complementary activities:
All the Master Programmes in Finance at CUNEF include a complementary course backed by CFA Spain and taught by CFA Spain staff which prepares participants in the Master Programmes in Finance to sit for level 1 of the CFA certification.The course consists of 20 three hour sessions in which the contents of level 1 of the qualification are covered, as follows:

MENTORING PROGRAMME “Choose Your Professional Future” carried out in cooperation with Seeliger y Conde, in which participants reinforce self-knowledge and acquire a solid basis for planning their professional career. Specialised consultants and executive coaches with extensive experience in selection and career management take part in the programme and provide participants in the Master Programmes in Finance at CUNEF with personalised attention. Mentoring is a process of personal learning in which the mentor shares his knowledge, advises, invests his time and devotes his effort to providing the participant with new perspectives, enriching their thought process, reinforcing their confidence and competencies and developing all their personal and professional potential. The programme combines this development methodology with executive coaching techniques. Each of the participants is encouraged to think about the importance of planning his or her professional career as a key success factor in achieving professional objectives.

INTERNATIONAL WEEK IN LONDON in cooperation with Regent’s College. The participants enjoy a brief international experience of the City of London. During International Week the participants receive specialised training at Regent´s College (2 specialised seminars given entirely in English), make visits to companies and financial institutions in the City, and have the opportunity of exchanging experiences with past students (networking meeting) working in London who offer information and advice on the different professional alternatives available in the City.

SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES. During the master programmes, several specialised seminars are held, and also conferences, working breakfasts, presentations, …. for the purpose of facilitating the access of participants to specialised knowledge or experience, innovative initiatives or projects, presented by professional experts and leaders in their respective fields.
